Scope of automation Field, Why automation is important for students, How automation is related to renewable & power system, How to be an automation engineer, Industrial automation (PLC) design, Understanding the equipment or process functions and more.

industry academia collaboration to support 4ir

Collaboration between industry and academia is key to catalyze innovation and growth in technology. While industry often focuses on addressing solutions that are of near-term commercial value and academia focuses on building new knowledge through research and imparting education to students, the combination can yield the accelerated development of new breakthroughs. A change of mindset is required for businesses to make the most of the opportunities presented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. So in this panel discussion, we were able to know more about Industry-Academia Collaboration to support the 4th Industrial Revolution

roadmap to home automation & cyber security

Bangladesh is estimated to be a wide user of automation technology in the future. Sectors such as RGM, electronics appliances, food factories ,garments and many other companies such as Bashundhara group are planning to implement automation or already using it. With the rise of automation technology, often the question related to privacy or security may arise and here the topic of Network Infrastructure Security comes to mind. Network Security and Network Infrastructure are conjugated technology to prevent unauthorized access, modifications, deletion and theft of resources and data in our network. To help students learn more about Home Automation, Network Security, Network Infrastructure and other interesting topics, we brought out an informative webinar.

women in aeronautics & Space || Maya nasr & moxie

The NASA-JPL Mission MARS 2020 has multiple goals that revolve around looking for ancient life on MARS. Yet the ultimate and most important goal is to prepare future human exploration on MARS. Meet Maya Nasr, MIT AeroAstro PhD Student, one of the greatest minds behind this epoch-making mission ‘Mission MARS 2020’. Starting her journey from being a normal Lebanese student and making her way into NASA with her extraordinary skill and passion to achieve her goals. To provide a view of her experience on the ‘Mission MARS 2020’ and MOXIE, we presented this exciting webinar for the university students

from gaza to mars -
talk with loay elbasyouni

On April 19, 2021, the human race made history by successfully performing the first test of powered flight on another planet, MARS. Ingenuity Helicopter is a great motivation for space enthusiasts & engineering students. Meet Loay Elbasyouni, the lead power electronics engineer, one of the great minds behind the success of Ingenuity Helicopter. Loay started from Gaza, Palestine and made his way to NASA-JPL Mission Mars 2020 with his extraordinary engineering skills and dream to fly.

To get inspired by his story and learn from his experiences, we presented a webinar for the university students titled “From Gaza to Mars – talk with Loay Elbasyouni”.

workshop on
microcontroller & Robotics

The webinar aimed to provide knowledge about microcontroller systems and robotics. The trainer made all the students familiar with the basics of Robotics & Microcontrollers. He explained the need for proper guidance to learn microcontrollers independently using Circuit Design & Simulation. He pointed out some of the basics of microcontroller-based project development. He also spoke about his love for junior students and how they can achieve milestones with a little encouragement.

WEBINAR ON MICROCONTROLLER & ROBOTICS

This webinar aimed to provide hands-on knowledge about microcontrollers to beginners. Topics Covered – A brief introduction to microcontrollers, Different types of Microcontroller Development boards, and Applications in our daily life.

Webinar on pcb fabrication

The webinar aimed to provide knowledge about complete PCB fabrication. Then our Honorable speaker finally started his discussion on PCB fabrication. His discussion covered many important points. For example, PCB class, IPC standard, software Walton group uses for their PCB fabrication, the etching process, and many more. After that, a Q/A session was arranged too. This session helped the participants to clear out the doubts they had on PCB fabrication.

contest on pcb design

This contest was an extension of the five days long workshop on PCB designing organized earlier. Students from 07 universities have participated in this contest. Participants got 4 hours to solve 2 problems using KiCAD software. They were asked to submit Schematic Capture, Footprint Capture, PCB Layout, Routing, ERC and DRC Check capture, 3d Model Capture, Gerber file, and KiCAD project file(.pro).

5 Days long WORKSHOP on PCB Design and Fabrication

The five days workshop was designed in a way to give the participants an overview of PCB designing from the very basic level. Later on, a contest was arranged based on this knowledge. The webinar discussed the PCB fabrication process. The webinar helped the participants to gather knowledge about the PCB fabrication process also the future of PCB Designing, opportunities as a PCB designer, etc. The duration of this workshop was five days, from 03/04/21 to 07/04/21, with two hours of the session each day in a total of ten hours properly divided into different sessions.
