Bangladesh is a country where game as a form of art is not appreciated. Although the local game industries are stepping up their games over the last few years, the general public still has a misconception of games being a child’s play. But is it really? In fact, all the stakeholders from users to developers are mostly adults. It has been proved that games can be solutions to many sophisticated problems that society is burdened with and can be a constant and meaningful companion for adults. We have been making serious games covering topics such as social abuse, adolescent sexual and reproductive education, children’s education, etc. This country doesn’t lack in terms of talents so all the game industry here needs is relevant support to thrive on the global stage.
