Professor Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Arefin
Affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh.
Professor Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Arefin received his Doctor of Engineering Degree in Information Engineering
from Hiroshima University, Japan with support of the scholarship of MEXT, Japan. As a part of his doctoral research, Dr. Arefin was with IBM Yamato Software Laboratory, Japan. His research includes
privacy preserving data publishing and mining, distributed and cloud computing, IoT and big data management, multilingual data management, semantic web, object oriented system development and IT for agriculture and environment.Dr. Arefin has more than 110 referred publications in international journals, book series and conference proceedings. He is a senior member of IEEE, Member of ACM, Fellow of IEB and BCS.

Nekhel Das worked as an assistant teacher of physics at BAF Shaheen College Chittagong and as Research assistant at Tampere University with Metaplasmonics group. He has skills in the cleanroom and characterization in lab and worked with different microscopy and laser during his master’s thesis. Nekhel Das has experiences in fabrication of nanostructure.

Md. Maruful Hasan Sabbir has been involved in IEEE from the early age of his University life. In 2017 and 2018, he served as the General Secretary of the IEEE IIUC Student Branch. Respectively, in the years 2018 he was selected as the Section Ambassador of the IEEE Day 2018, also from 2018 to 2019 he was the Social Media Coordinator of IEEE Bangladesh Section Humanitarian Activities Committee and in the Year 2020, he was selected as the Section YP Ambassador of the IEEE PES DAY 2020.
